Description

Made from rocks, not trees! Mineral Paper is similar to traditional wood-based paper, but is made with calcium carbonate from rocks rather than tree pulp. Its composition – 80% calcium carbonate bonded together with a small amount of HDPE (plastic) – gives it some very unique properties. It is tear and water-resistant, so it will not bleed through even when soaked. It provides a great surface for almost any wet or dry medium, resulting in crisp lines, saturated colours and just the right amount of absorbency for a wide variety of creative techniques.
